what is “okay” anyway. i feel as though recently i’ve spent too much time “being” rather than feeling. is “okay” a place i’ve been before, it certainly is no place familiar. why is it that i find comfort in closing my eyes when darkness is what i fear most. perhaps it’s not the dark itself, but instead what’s lurking in it.
